The world’s gone copyright mad, it’s official. A photo lab refused to hand over customer pics to the customer because they looked “professional” and the customer didn’t have a release form from the photographer, despite the fact that the customer was the photographer. Yes, you read that correctly, if the pics looked less professional all would have been easier. Here’s the article and the reasoning, some of which I am sympathetic to though I can’t imagine this is the solution. This problem is not going to go away by itself, a better solution is needed.
